Robins get the Christmas tingles!

Robin class made christingles used in some Christian churches during the time of advent. We learnt how each part of a christingle represents something special for this time of year.  Christians believe that the candle represents Jesus being the light of the world; the sweets/dried fruit: God’s creation in the four seasons; The orange: the world and the red ribbon: God’s love for the world. We thought about how we can bring light to other people who might be feeling lonely or sad.

We also had lots of fun performing in our Christmas production. Thank you all for coming to watch and supporting your children to learn their lines.
