Owls and the Minibeast Experts

Owls had the pleasure of a visit from Anglian Waters Minibeast Experts Jo and Dale. They came in to teach us all about "Minibeasts" which is a term for a variety of arthropods and other invertebrates, including spiders, ants, butterflies, bees, wasps, flies, woodlice, and many others. They brought along Water Snails and Dragonfly Nymph Skins which we were able to hold. Then we went on our very own Minibeast quest in our outdoor area where we found a millipede, worms, slugs and a woodlouse who the class were delighted with, so much so they decided to call him Jeff!
