All week the childre at GBA have been learning the Makaton signs to the song 'We'll Meet Again', ready for today's assembly. They did everyone proud and joined in beautifully! The assembly explored how WW2 impacted the United Kingdom & Europe, the importance of VE Day and why we still celebrate it today. At lunch time the children and teachers all came together on the field for a good old British picnic, under grey skies, but nevertheless, it was joyful!
