Whole School Mosaic Project
Children celebrate the school's Identity during Arts Week!
As part of Arts Week, GBA was joined by the mosaic artist Rachel Stilston, who worked with every child in school that day to create a whole school mosaic, which reflects the identity of our school. We chose mosaic as our medium because the school stands on a Roman site; mosaics were often used by the Romans. The design features the well-known bridge in Godmanchester, from which our school takes its name. It also captures the spirit of the town, with images of the river, Tudor buildings, and some of the animals that represent our class names.
