Year 5 and 6 were invited to Cambridge to a Science project day run by Illumina as part of the 2024 DNA day celebrations. The children took part in many science activities including touring labs and extracting DNA from strawberries all while engaging with professionals working in the Science sector. To cap it all off, some of the year 6 children made an appearance on the local news and met The Princess Royal, Princess Anne.
